Meet Jamie

Hi, I’m Jamie Prescott, owner and inspector behind DownEast Title V Inspections, LLC. The person you see in this picture is the person you’ll work with from start to finish—the one who answers your questions, researches the property records, performs the inspection, explains the findings, and files the completed report with the local Board of Health.


I learned the septic business where it matters most: out in the field. When I decided to go out on my own, I built DownEast around a simple belief—homeowners, buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals deserve honest answers and clear explanations without scare tactics or sales pressure. I don’t install or repair septic systems, so my only job is to provide an accurate, independent inspection.


Since starting DownEast, I’ve served clients in more than 35 Massachusetts towns and earned nothing but five-star Google reviews. I’m proud of that, but I’m even more proud of why people recommend me: I show up prepared, treat every property with respect, communicate in plain English, and follow through on what I promise.
